Tyler is now 9 months old! In the last month he has taken off crawling (he first crawled about a week before he turned 8 months old), gone from strained baby food to finger solid foods, and now is pulling himself up on objects. He is so interactive and LOVES the attention of his older siblings! I still try to feed him the jarred baby food, but he just won't have it- it is a struggle every time. He LOVES to be independent and pick up his food himself, and definitely prefers more grown up food to the plain baby food. It's a bit messy - - but he LOVES to eat! He is still nursing (we haven't tried a bottle for a long time)- and it is a whole new experience nursing a child his age. It is so easy to figure out what he wants when he starts lunging for me with his mouth wide open. Ha Ha.
He also LOVES balls. One time Jon was holding him while he was kicking a small ball ball around with his feet. Tyler laughed and laughed- he thought it was great! He is always drawn to balls and any play time involving a ball. Hmmmm- do we have a little athlete in the making?
