Merry Christmas everyone! Obviously, I am very behind on blogging. This holiday season has been a whirlwind of wonderful activity, and finding time to sit down and blog has been very difficult. Tis the season for all of the extra (but fun) things for a mom to do such as school projects and holiday parties, shopping and wrapping, decorating, caroling with the church Primary (for which I was the pianist), taking kids to visit Santa, baking, putting together teacher gifts and Christmas cards, going on a little vacation to Columbus the week before Christmas, and trying to keep the season focused on the birth of our Savior and doing good will to others. This is on top of the normal craziness - - makes for a busy mom, as so many other moms can testify about this time of year. Jon also studied hard and took his step 3 COMLEX December 15th (a big test he HAS to pass or he can't move on in his residency program) and we are anxiously awaiting the results. Busy, busy! Tis the season for having a very messy house (and wishing my house looked like a Christmas catalog) . . . though Jon and the kids did help get it cleaned up before our little vacation to Columbus, so when we came back on the day before the day before Christmas it was CLEAN!! I DO love this season though- what a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the year. I love remembering the Savior's birth and what an important part of this my faith is. Making Christmas magical for my Children is also so much fun- they sure are enjoying their gifts this year!
So- Merry Christmas to all- much more to follow, along with all the happenings of Thanksgiving and our month of December!
