Too hot to blog?

As always, I am way behind on my blog- From trips back to Spokane, the Zoo, our Niagara Falls/ church history tour, a Monson Family reunion, and our BIG news about Jon securing a job position as a family doctor back in the Spokane area for next year . . . I have a ton to post about! This last month especially has been busy, yet fun and exciting! It isn't just the busy-ness that has kept me from blogging, with all the kids home from school (besides the craziness of just having them home), the computer is in high demand. Even with limits- it still seems to not be available enough for me to blog. I have been doing quick updates on facebook- - but that won't translate into my printed family journal- which is what I do with my blog!

The other reason is what I said in the title. The computer resides in our upstairs loft bedroom- - and it is sooo hot up here! The air conditioning just doesn't reach this room very well, and fans are what make it bearable enough to sleep at night. We contemplated getting a window air conditioner unit, but the nature of the window would make it hard to install, plus the cost of buying an air conditioner is too much for just one summer. So, we have been just making due. Although some days aren't too bad (when the weather is milder) I still don't feel as much draw to spend a long time at the computer! A quick post on facebook and glance through posts, checking my email and paying bills is about all I can stand! I also apologize to people who's blogs I used to follow more, I haven't been stopping in as often . . .Anyway, lame excuse, I know.

All in all, stay tuned for some exciting things, some ups and and some downs from the last several months!
