springtime projects and fun!

The sun comes out, the flowers start blooming, and we even had baby birds hatch in our front bush- - - we love spring! We have had many fun projects this year- the new play structure, new garden beds, Jon is leveling a few spots in the yard, the front flower bed is torn apart for an egress window and sprinkler syster . . . and we even put in an above ground pool . . . in conjunction with the firepit we put in last year, the trampoline and rope swing- we have a hoppin' yard! The kids have also had fun helping the neighbors (the chicken belongs to the neighbor).

Jon ran Bloomsday . . .

Fun family outings like Miniature golfing at Wonderland (We won two free tickets for the 18th hole!! Jon got one, then he did Tyler's and got another!!). We also loved getting outside to enjoy Manito Park on a lovely Sunday evening . . .

First time taking the Kayak out:

We love the outdoors when the weather is nice . . . Most of these pictures were taken in May when the weather was AWESOME. We had a really rainy few weeks in June, which was hard when school first got out- - especially since I was out a vehicle because the van was being repaired . . . but July has dawned hot and beautiful- - more outdoor fun to come!
