Tyler's tooth

While we were in Oregon this last summer, Tyler stood on a windowsill to look at the view of the ocean and slipped, knocking his face on the windowsill as he went down. One of his front teeth was loose and bloody, but we tried to salvage it and it seemed to be healing ok. After we got home, he complained of it still hurting so we took him to the dentist. Lo and behold, he had an abscess and the tooth was dead- - so the dentist removed the tooth. Sigh, I am so mourning the loss of his tooth! He will have a gap probably for the next 3 years . . . He still is my cute little guy, though!

The funniest was when Lillian JUST loss the same tooth (right before Thanksgiving)- they have matching gaps!
